I'm Valeriy from Russia, my nick is valeri. I plaied historical battles with Hawks-Wombat,Duke of Marlboroug,Stockman,Bud in 2004-05 years before Gexzoid Mod. Probably they remember me.
I have russian version of Fight Back. I tried to come back to your community if possible.
First of all I did as recomended: "To solve the language problem go to Game_Folder/Internet/ and find ggwdc.ini file. Open this file with Notepad, find string ggwdserver_lang and set its value to 0 instead of 1". (I had there"3"instead of "1"). Then I installed official Hawk Mod v3_TEST.exe but I received the massage than some files are corrupted: "CRC failed in patch02.gs1. Unexpected end of archive". Than I installed dead_body_mod succesfully.
I installed some maps like Borodino etc. While I'm opening this map I see the icons of units (and from academia) instead of cannons and some french troops. I see icons instead of redout (barrels).
When I try single I had something the same: icons instead of units. I could not build a barrak etc. But single does not matter. I'm worry about multi-player. Now I have version M50 of my FB on internetserver. Is it correct? I can connect play room on server.OK.
Can you help me, please? Thank you in advance.

download the mod again and do a fresh installation of the game and mod

Well, after looking at your problem, I have to concur that it would probably be best, as cheesy says, to try downloading the mod again, and then see if that works.

It is quite common for files to become corrupted during downloading of large files such as this one, and those who do get a clean download first time are usually lucky.

I saw somewhere that Gexozoid told about this CRC error. May be the reason - russian version? I hope he will see my post too.

Hmmm, no, I wonder if it has to do with the fact that it is the Russian version. I know that Awar had made the Russian version of EW, I think GeX will probably be the only one that can answer this particular question.

As I recall, EW has a russian patch that awar made, that makes the game compatible with the russian version. It's not the same as "awar mod" you are talking about.

It seems to me I did it!
Now problem is solved.
I can watch Hawk's movies (.rec files).
I would like to try playing some games with somebody who wants to help me.
I need to check real game, connection with partner by internet etc.
