i think if your computer can play the 1st cossacks it could play American conquest. The graphics and system requirements are similar.

The GSC site is down for now. but should be back up soon. It is the main site for the company so I dought it will be down for very long.

But if it is then read the last post on the link I provided. You can get the patch from Stonveld.
